Description of Population
The target population for this study was a fourth-grade with male and female elementary students, approximately aged 9 and 10. The accessible population for this study was the fourth-grade classroom headed by Ms. Penney at the South Headland Elementary School (pseudonyms). There were 24 students, ages 9 and 10 years old in Ms. Penney’s classroom. There were 23 male and female Caucasian students and 1 African-American female student. All students were English-speaking from middle class backgrounds. |
